Managing users on a chat server typically includes banning or disconnecting users from the service and creating user classes. You create user classes to protect chat servers and users from attack, and to impose restrictions such as connection time and the ability to create or join a dynamic channel. Additionally, users who demonstrate inappropriate behavior in a channel may need to be banned from that channel, or, in some cases, disconnected from Chat Service completely.
You can also grant specific administrative permissions to users by making them members of the chat sysop or chat sysop manager accounts on the server. You can then use these and any member accounts you create to limit user access to a persistent channel.
