Setting Up Properties for NNTP

To send and receive USENET newsfeeds, you must configure the newsfeed and NNTP properties. You can set properties for the NNTP object that are available at the site and server levels. Site NNTP properties apply to all servers in a site; server NNTP properties apply only to a single server. With some exceptions, all properties for the NNTP object are the same for the site and the server.

Getting to the NNTP property pages

  1. In the Administrator window, choose a site or server, and then choose Protocols.
  2. Double-click NNTP (News) Site Defaults for the site, or NNTP (News) Settings for the server.
