Use the Schedule+ Free/Busy Connector Options property page to configure Microsoft Exchange Server to exchange Schedule+ free and busy information between Microsoft Exchange Server sites and MS Mail (PC) postoffices. After you configure the Schedule+ Free/Busy Connector, choose the Services icon in Control Panel to start it.
Use the Schedule+ Free/Busy Connector Options property page to assign an administrator's mailbox. Any mail addressed to the Schedule+ Free/Busy Connector that cannot be processed, such as NDRs, is forwarded to this mailbox. An administrator's mailbox must be specified to use the Schedule+ Free/Busy Connector.
Use the Schedule+ Free/Busy Connector Options property page to assign a distribution list. A Schedule+ distribution list must be specified to use the Schedule+ Free/Busy Connector. The distribution list contains MS Mail (PC) postoffices that share free and busy information with the Microsoft Exchange Server site. The list should contain all AdminSch accounts.
Use the Schedule+ Free/Busy Connector Options property page to export free and busy information for all Schedule+ users to postoffices in the Schedule+ distribution list. A full export is necessary when new members have been added to the Schedule+ distribution list.
Use the Schedule+ Free/Busy Connector Options property page to specify how often the Schedule+ Free/Busy Connector sends free and busy information to MS Mail (PC) postoffices in the Schedule+ distribution list. The update frequency in the Schedule+ Free/Busy Connector Options property page should be equal to the polling interval for the Schdist program in the Microsoft Mail system. Otherwise, Schdist may receive new Schedule+ updates before it has finished processing the old set of updates.
You can configure the Schedule+ Free/Busy Connector to send free and busy information for an individual Microsoft Exchange Server site to the postoffices on the Schedule+ distribution list. Use this option if your organization has more than one Schedule+ Free/Busy Connector and you want to control the sharing of free and busy information between Microsoft Exchange Server sites and MS Mail (PC) postoffices on the distribution list.
You can specify whether to log events in the Windows NT Server Event Log for the Schedule+ Free/Busy Connector. Setting a logging level is useful when troubleshooting the Schedule+ Free/Busy Connector. You should enable logging only if you are having problems.
