Test the Connection

After you configure the connector, you should test the connection before allowing general message transfer. To test the connection, send a message from a Microsoft Exchange Server recipient to a cc:Mail recipient using an e-mail client. To ensure a complete connection from both sides of the connector, send a message from a cc:Mail client to a Microsoft Exchange Server recipient.

If address lists have not been exchanged between systems, enter the post office and mailbox names for any recipients you wish to send a test message to. For information on synchronizing directory information, see "Running Directory Synchronization" earlier in this chapter.
