Cameleon history
Cameleon is an original time waster game designed by Jari Komppa
long time ago.
Versions are available as door for FOSSIL aware BBS:es, and as stand alone programs for
Atari ST and Win32. The author has lost his copy of the original DOS-based version.
Some rumors about Atari Falcon version has been around, and a Java-based version is in
the works by Toni Lönnberg, who coded
the Atari ST version as well.
Jari Komppa has coded the original DOS version, two BBS door versions and Win32 version.
Cameleon/W32 is the first complete windows program by the author, and is released as
freeware. It is copyrighted by the author, but may be freely distributed in any form
imaginable, as long as no profit is made.
Jari Komppa is also known as Sol of the demo group Trauma. He's sometimes on IRC with
the handle Sol_HSA. Any comments about this game should be mailed to him.
