First of all my thanks to Dave for posting my pictures. My knowledge and skills on the computer are at best a 2 out of a 10.
About "My Survior".
I purchased it from the original owner this past summer. The mileage is true and it has a build date of 0412. It has a 360, 4bbl, and a TF727 trans.
Despite the fact it has spent its' entire life on the West(Wet) Coast of Canada, it has never been rained on according to the previous owner. There is no rust anywhere and the paint is original. There are two areas where the car has been repainted (poorly I might add) by the selling Dealer, the passenger door and the left 1/4 panel. My original plan was to repaint the car, but a neighbour of mine (a Mopar Lover) who has 7 MOPAR ragtops, including a '63 Sport Fury with a 426 STAGE III Max Wedge, swayed my decision. He told me that basically I had and 8 year old used car, and to leave it alone, other than any mechanical work I wanted to do. As there are no plans for it to be a "Trailer Queen", I intend to do the following.
A: Get rid of those 1978 Michelin tires. They've only got 6000 miles on them, but I don't feel they are safe for highway driving. They'll be replaced with 225x60x14s on the front, and 235x60x14s on the rear.
B: A basic tune-up, replace all water hoses, and some exhaust work. All of the original parts will be kept.
Note the shifter, specifically the shifter knob. There was some discussion on this board that it should have a "TEE" handle instead of the knob. According to the previous owner, the shifter and knob is the same one the car came with in 1974. A fellow I know that has a 74 'Cuda has the same shifter arangement in his car.
I hope you like the pictures of "My Survivor", and I'll post some later with the the BF GOODRICH TA'S on it.
