Hi all ! Slow summer ,not much done here. Just this week . Removed Windshield , vinyl roof and did my last seat bottom.
Engine almost done Getting ready for Testbench ( What do you call it?) Brake bench?? or?

Well ..picked up my 383 after 10 years out of town.
304 hp and 598 Nm.

For me that is a lot of torque and not that much hp for beeing a 383". Am I right? :| What have you done with it? :?

Well Christer i have 54 more hp than the original 250 hp din . Not sae hp 300 @ 4800 and Tourqe 410 @ 3400 , Haven't got the paper work from the company that did the rebuild. I think it's ok for a standard engine .

It's making good power, but at low rpm. Which is why the HP numbers seem low.

Curious the purpose of the braces up front? I once knew a professional mechanic/body man and he swore by adding a cross brace near the radiator to tie the frame together on his Cuda. :?
