It is away getting rust cut out and completely painted by someone who is in no hurry. I am short of money right now anyway so it's no problem. But I really miss it! :tears:

Thanks mate, I love it too. Different thats for sure, lots of high impact colours out there but not too many straight Whites around.
VP Replicas yes, but these Dog dish hubcaps do enough to make it stand out. :D

I also have the Rallyes to create the Vanishing Point look if desired.

Cheers

I've always thought dog dish rims make challengers and cuda's look ‘bad-ass’. They look raw, and ruthless! Brand-X guys hate them - I argue with them all the time. Dog dish rims are full of character - they create personality. I always find myself venturing towards the dog dish cars first at car shows. Love'em!

Man your car is going to look very sharp - VERY SHARP!

Thanks mate very kind of you to say so. I agree Dog Dish hub caps are very stealth and give it that "race" look and also the impression the driver isn't into show, but GO. :D 8)

Cheers

*NZ RESTO UPDATED WITH HEAPS OF PHOTOS*

Postby NZ440R/T » 28 Jul 2005 14:00

Had to be a TorqueFlite-727 car or nothing. Also a 440. (#'s car)

Prefer the TF-727 as these cars were built for straightline, they used 'em back then and with todays upgrades you can't go wrong.
Manual maybe fun to other people but winning on the street and going fast is whats fun to me. Manuals in my opinion tackle the corners better....but even the T/A cars didn't do that well so I concentrate more on the straights. Manuals I will admit are more desirable, due mainly to the fact that less were made. JMO

Here are more updates - These were taken yesterday. Any Questions please ask.

Work completed:

- Doors are on but not "on".
- ALL wiring harnesses are now in place
- Trunk end, taillights, trunk insulator, trunk lid, filler tube etc will be completed within a week.
- Enigine is now 85% complete. Most of the wires at the back are still labeled and waiting for there final clips.
A/C guy still has to come back and copnnect everything for the last time.
- Original Carter AVS 4bbl is on and fully rebuilt -choke. (Sourcing one now)
- Seat frames and tracks getting there last fit and track before podwer coating etc...

Too much to list but give it 8 weeks and this car will look like it should, a car.

Cheers,
Carl
