Looks familiar as you say Tony but I can't place it.

The number plate is no clue to me as I can't even remember the numbers on my own cars let alone others. :D

This car was bought by a guy in Scotland last year. He posted pictures of it parked on his drive on this site, but I can't remember his user name. There was a thread on here I'm sure! (Or was it the MMA board ? God I'm getting old)

He had it up for sale a few months later, saying it had to go...

Thought it looked familiar.

That book wouldn't be Muscle Cars by Richard Nicholls ISBN 0 86124 234 3 and published by Bison Books Ltd in 1985 and reprinted in 1990 would it?

Never heard of it.

Thanks for mailing me Christer! Not been in here for ages, too painfull! Yup,that was my car,I rebuilt the 318 with early heads, and edelbrock manifold,Holley 600,new shells etc, tidied the body a bit, gave the doors quarters and bootlid a lick of paint (was a Mercedes colour)new tyres, brakes, then had to let it go....still hurts. It sold on ebay after 1 bid for £4500.. :worry:
A chap from Nottingham bought it,and is currently doing a full restoration, including new quarters and stuff, can't wait to see it finished.I'm glad in the end it went to someone who is doing it properly.I still have a copy of the book its in.I got some info from the owners son, from the time the car was pictured, and it was brought in from the 'States new by a serviceman.

Here's a pic of it,just before I sold it.
