Second Homecoming.

Picked her up from the body shop. Thanks to Burt and the crew at Lakeshore Auto Body for some great work!
We ran into a snag applying the hood blackout decal, so we'll try again with another one later this week.
-The correct hemi orange looks better than the reddish I had previously.

Yehaa. Hemi-Orange. :s007: Do you paint the bumpers cause they are bad? I prefer the chrom look. Looks a bit strange color all over.

One offtopic question here, sorry, I'm German. Why do you call a car "her"? Read it a lot of times, and every time I think it must be "him". For me a car is more male then female. Sorry Ladies... Must be special english grammar.

The bumpers are OK. I saw some of the cars that had the non-metal bumpers that were body color and thought this would be different, and I like it.
As far as calling the car "her", I guess it's an English thing. We refer to ships, planes, cars (and of course our wives/ girlfriends) this way.

Still looks fantastic Chuck :D
I like the coloured bumper look but only on certain colours, red or orange look great but yellow or blue look awful. The metallic's of course are a different story but I've seen some with a satin black bumper and they looked great.

I don't think of my cars or bike as anything but 'it'.......... my dad used to call one of his XJ-S's 'Stella', ain't got a clue why

It still looks great, but the bumpers colored reminds me more to the actual cars. All bumpers colored. If the chrome is bad, I understand the coloring. But I don't want you to think, you did something wrong. Everyone has different favors.

And again yehaa. Hemi orange has a different look on different light sources. Saw mine in so many different colors already.

The hood decal is a must.
