This subject came up on another post but I thought it worth sharing the question;
I know that pivot pins for the lower control arm are freely available from a few sources now, but has any body knowledge of lca bushes, poly or graphite or whatever, that have a spiral lubricating groove already moulded in the centre?
I just can't see how a std pattern bush can get overall lubrication otherwise. Reasonably tight fit on the pin and in the old shell so even the pressure of a grease nipple won't push the lube around will it? Maybe a pivot pin with a spiral groove machined around the contact surface instead?
I doubt my thoughts have little if any merit but I was just interested
