Anyone know where a GOOD reproduction T-Handle for the slapstick shifter can be had?

1970 didn't use the T handle. That came out in 71. The 1970 black plastic slider plate has a round hole cutout in it. The 1970 shifter was a round ball with a round shaft. The shifter fit down into the circular hole in the slider plate. The 71-74 black plastic slider plate has a rectangular cutout in it for the T-handle.

If you do indeed have the T-handle slider plate, Herb's Parts has a reproduction T-handle available. I don't know how nice it is though. Even if it is an accurate reproduction, it will still be flimsy like the originals.

Yeah, I know. I just like the look of the T-Handle over the wooden "Olde English" ball.

browse all those parts4sale forums and ebay. I'm sure I saw a couple original used T-Handle shifters around and even the corresponding plates.

OT: Last winter I converted to the Autogrip shifter cause I like the style and the feel while shifting, as I have a manual valve body auto transmission.
