I'd go for an FBO advance plate kit, not just for the plate but because of the good selection of springs they include and the very helpful chart that helps you to plot a good curve suitable for your car.
As for the part numbers type em into Google and you should get all you want mate

Thanks
Good Info, looks like i have the original distributor the car was born with.
I will be using this distributor with the stock coil.
Now can i get some tips on how to run my pertronix wiring and if those springs are good to use?
Please no opinions on other distributors or coils, i will not change those, just want my car to look stock but run a little better.

I don't have any experience with the Petronix kit but I'm sure if you visit their web page you'll find detailed install guides.
As for the advance springs, you're gooing to have to experiment with a timing gun and see how fast a curve you've got, it should be all in by about 3000rpm at the most, but not much earlier than 2600rpm ideally. Any slower or quicker than that and you'll have to obtain a selection of springs and try them to see what changes they make, that's where the kits like the FBO come in handy, a lot of the trial and error work has been done for you.
Set the timing using Daves procedure outlined in the sticky at the top of this section, it's a very comprehensive guide and easy to follow. Using the timing figures he outlines will perk the motor up nicely, give you a clean exhaust and plugs and even keep the motor cool :D

I read that running the pertronix directly to the coil positive side is not enough voltage for a 440 with a balister and it will cause the system to burn out.
The balister is the best place to connect the positive from the Pertronix as it gives it it's full 12 volts required.
Is this correct??

I can't tell the wire colours in the photo. They look the same colour at each end to me. Have you not got a volt test meter?

Full battery voltage is 14 volts by the way. I have no idea why they call it a 12 volt system.
The Dave giveth and the Dave taketh away.
