Be careful with those fireworks. You don't want to start any more fires....

As a matter of fact I did some rootin an tootin a shooting squirrels from my 2 wheeled steed this morning. Got 5 confirmed in 7 shots with my tried and true Ruger pistol. I can usually dot a rabbits eye at 20 yards, but was kinda shaky for some reason.

Went for a quad ride this evening out on the back 40 and noticed the fog barreling in from the Pacific Ocean. Too bad, there won't be much fireworks to see along the coast tonight :(

Most people that live in fire pron areas really respect the consequences of being careless. We did have an episode last month started from a farmer discing a preventative fire-line too late in the season though. Go figure.

About ten years ago another farmer started one harvesting Barley on one of the ridges. The Paso Robles air strike force was on it like stink on shit. Planes and helicopter flying in at hilltop level. Very impressive to view.

Drew, that rain sure sounds refreshing, and your saving water in showering to boot :D Very green of you.

Yea you Cali guys have this fire stuff too,the last waldo fire in the springs they now have found out it actually started a day earlier,

and laid down over night and they couldn't see it until day break ,

and by then it was a full blown wild fire racing up the canyon, if they can catch em early the have a chance but if it gets windy and hot well it will go where ever it wants , alot like flood waters ,and the other region got 2 inches of rain in an hour and the river was flowing black with all the burn off, really crappy stuff but it is nature
