Hello ol´friends, it´s been a while now... =)
Yesterday i got home with my new friend, a 2005 Mustang GT that i swapped with one of the choppers.
It´s a low mileage car in good shape, except from a dent the local carpainter has to fix.

Now, i´ve noticed these cars on the roads and now that i will not be alone with this car, as with the old chally..

Now, i have trouble decide whetever i should go for the red or light red, thinking that pherhaps light red would be too distinct and red pherhaps would be easier for the eye to blend in on a nice way with the black? What do you guys think? I would love som help with pic´s on black cars with red stripes, and a hint of wich kind of red it is in real life.. i bet the screen can trick the eyes aswell/ compared to the actual colour irl....(!?)

I really like white stripess on a black car, like a 442 or GSX with the wide hood graphics. Those new Stangs always look great with a custom hood, front spoiler and sripes, but I still like em in black

Thanks! Yes, i have suspected that some red´s might be ugly!
That Chally was looking okay, but i think i might don´t like this idea of black /red stripes anymore (i did see a Camaro -69 with this in a car magazine once, but no... i don´t feel like it anymore

I agree with you i believe Adrian, and with Dave.. I have thought a lot of this, and after looking at several pictures on the google, i´ve started to think white is the honestly most correct colour on stripes really... But i think dark grey or silver should look great aswell, and i did see some picture on matte black- that was really nice! (One i want to show you, but cannot find it anymore- 2 matte black stripes, and one thin line of red in the outside of each black stripe.. looked cool!

I totally love red interiors in black cars! It doesnt matter if it is a Chevy -57, a -69 Camaro or a Challenger, i saw a Saleen Mustang with this combo, and i have also seen an 2002 Audi A8 in Germany with this combo, i agree! That is the awesome Dave! (I wish this ´stang had red interior too

What will do best? I don´t want side stripes, and the ínterior is grey... Matte black, dark grey or plane white - should we have a wote?

A guy who lives near me has a late model 'Stang in a kind of olive metallic, it has tungsten grey stripes that look fantastic. I do think that a strong contrast is the best, I just love black and white as a colour combo anyway, even a black car with a white vinyl, looks super cool

Yeah, i am really satisfied so far, it was supposed to be a swap to sell, but it was so fantastic in my eyes irl compared to the photos, and really feeeels so good, that i totally like it and wanna keep it

I agree, white is a good contrast, but i don´t know if i agree at 100% with the vinyl roof on black, i preffer to see black/black in that case

I want to see the olive/tungsten- sounds unique as a combo on a Mustang(?)

If it were my car I'd put black stripes on it. I've seen a couple black T/A Challengers and some black Chargers. The black stripes look awsome. With the paint being gloss and the stripe being matte, the stripes don't look like they are even sitting on the paint. They look like they are hovering above it.

If black is off the table, I'd go with silver. I'm not a big fan of white stripes on black cars.

There's a yellow Mustang up the street from me. I'm not sure what Ford calls that color but it's a mustard yellow...not a bright yellow. That car has stripes running from the hood, down the fenders and across the doors. I think they are the 1970 Boss 302 style stripes. That stripe would look great on your car too....in black of coarse.

It went out okey, strange- because i can only see the miniatures of it and its broken when i try to see the big format of it, still it works as desktop pic so... Anywahy it has matteblack stripes aswell - and looks awesome huh?

I believe i have to get me a chin spoiler to fit the stock standard spoiler... Are they usually attached with rivnut and / or plastic like epoxi?

And lower it at least an inch and a half.... Then i like the rear ducktail style wings!

In the first pic of the black stripes I think the black wheels are a little too much. The Cobra looks bad ass. The gray/silver stripes look great too.

What do you think about removing the Mustang emblem from the grill? I think that would clean up the front end a little. There's a little too much going on with the lights in the grill along with the emblem.

Yes, i also starting to think that grey are nice, look at these Dave- here you can see that the grey are blending in nice, like the matte black... and 2 pic´s are on a mustang with more in to silver right?

I totally agree... I don´t like it when there is nothing that pop out from the car, i also think something should be chrome or as Dave thought, a part of the wheel chrome!

I like your idea of removing the emblem, pherhaps make the fog lights a bit smoked coloured aswell?
