We're almost ready to put this back in and I was told there are some engine mounts that are high performance rubber type that seat between the engine and frame mounts.
I've checked JEGGS and Summit and can't seem to locate anything like that.

Check one of the manufacturers that does poly suspension bushings, a few of them also make trans and motor mounts

I don't think I need the heavy duty stuff- only the inserts with the poly. These I can't seem to locate. Going from a 318 to a 360 shouldn't be as involved as upgrading to a big block.

Going from a 318 to a 360 should pose no problems, both are small block engines, essentially poured from the same mold. If you have engine mounts from the 318 and they are still in good shape, try using those. I dont think the mounting location changed between a 318 and a 360.

I am still kinda new to classic Mopars so I could be wrong, but its worth a try.

The mounts seem to be ok, but I want to install new isolators, as the old ones are shot.

Late Challengers came with 360's anyway, '74 i think, so it should be easy ebough to order new motor mounts I would have thought. Tried your local Mopar dealership parts monkeys

I got that look when I went to a dodge dealer looking for the upper hose fitting for my 318. It was even funnier when I went to them for an upper ball joint tool. They didn't even recognize that type of ball joint.

That just amazes me ..........I would expect to go to America, walk into a parts vendor and get what I wanted for my American car, old or not............sometimes I think we have better informed American spares people in the UK than you got there

Finally got the mounts. Thanks Richard!!!
Cleaned, painted and matched with a set of Isolators from Mancini (Thanks Adrian!).
Gonna replace the seals on the 727 and get this stuff into the engine bay!
(Headers are the "break-in" set) We have a nice fresh set in the box ready to go!

They will..we just sandblasted them and are giving them a generous coat of hi-temp paint.
