An air locker is useful when you might need to have a locked diff with no torque applied (rock crawling for instance), so you need to have a way to switch it on. For muscle cars, when you need to have the diff locked, it's generally under a high torque situation. A TrueTrac diff works fine. It is simply turned on with the accelerator pedal...
The Dana 60 is real heavy though...
