Choices of aluminium radiators

I'm gonna fit an ally rad to the car, I saw the set up Dave had on his and I was well impressed. What are the recommendations for choice of rad, only got a 22" opening on the rad panel, but i can easy open that up to 26", what are the best brands, types of electric fans etc, do you run a higher system pressure with an ally rad?
A mate of mine who imports from the States has got a 26"rad and a double fan and shroud package for just under £300, but it looks like Chinese shit and I'm not too sure about it :?
Whaddya reckon  :?:

I'm in the same boat as you Adrian. I dont want to cut my 22" opening for a 26" plus I be using E-85 and it runs cool anyways. I have been E-Mailing this guy,, craigibc@yahoo.com his prices are very reasonable! His avatar on moparts is jonsgottademondad. Prices are from 175.00 to around 300.00 and available in 2,3 or 4 row cores,, with many features found on higher priced alluminum stuff.

Go for a 26" if you have any kind of performance upgrade to the engine and run on unleaded fuel. Otherwise you will wish you had at some point.

Just picked up a new 26" crossflow aluminium rad from me mate, gonna shove it on this evening and see how it fits. Only possible prob I see is getting enough cool air to the matrix, the rad opening is only 23", so with the tanks on either side of the rad being about 2" deep that should just about work, the factory rads never had the tanks exposed to the opening anyway 8)
Coolant recovery tanks................are you using 'em :?:
