how do i find the build date of my 70 challenger rt is it on thr fender tag second row from the bottom before the production number? if so i have 408 there does that mean april eight 1970?

Correct!

Just remember that this is not the actual day the car was built. It is just the scheduled date.

The date on the sticker next to the drivers door lock is more accurate and that only gives the month and year!

thanks,i'll have to go with that date. the sticker on the door was removed for repaint years ago
