Shifter Assembly Diagram

Postby cv70chall » 16 Feb 2011 19:38

I hope I'm posting in the right area, so here goes.
I've recently removed my interior to add Hushmat and clean up the slapstick linkage and replace some gaskets.
I'm having trouble figuring out exactly how the spring attaches to the shifter assembly on the floor.
Anyone that might have a diagram would be a great help!

Thanks

I didn't think the workshop manual showed that spring?

It is spring 19-48-9 you are looking for isn't it?

This is from the parts manual and does not show how it actually fits. Although the postition on the diagram might give you a clue?

Did you figure out how that spring gets installed? It's a pretty goofy setup. I can take a picture of mine if you still need to see how it goes together. Let me know.
