Thanks Wayne! Here is the complete parts group to do the conversion. Parts came from SDC,,salvage yard,,95 Dodge Ram Truck with 5.2/5.9 magnum engine,,95 Jeep with 5.2/5.9,,NAPA Auto Parts,,Rock Auto Parts on line and Milodon.

Had to go with a 90 Amp new alt. the 75 was no longer available. No Biggie,,I have the MAD electrical alt. High Amperage wiring upgrade.

Starting to put parts on,,,Billet alloy with steel fasteners,,,used anti-seieze,,had to tap a few parts,,,(Burrs),,but so far so good.

Is it as popular to fit the small Jap alternators in the US like it is here?

The Denso type alternators Ade? Yes,,I think it is. Maybe the 100 point guys like the round/square backs that MoPar used back in the day,,,but these are superior in every way. Lighter,,more powerful,,cheaper ect.

Had to take it all apart,,I'm just that way,, seriously,,wrong water pump housing,,mine only has 1 boss at the T-Stat neck cast into it for a 3/8-16 bolt. I need both bosses. I ordered a new housing from mancini racing

OK,,all installed. No more thrown v-belts 90 AMP new Denso style alt. (New TYI unit,,all new parts) New Jeep power steering pump,,Stage III Firm Feel power box. Stainless high pressure hose. Hope it all plays together nicely! Kinda feel like Lotus Circa 1964,, SAT is the day I am going to do a BODY DROP!! I'll post pics

I think they would be very foolish if they didn't ! At least sell a decent block! As of now,,you cant buy a 6.1 Cast Iron block or even the expensive alloy block. This would help build brand recognition and promote MP sales and parts. GM and Ford sell their LS and Coyote, Modular blocks,,heck you can buy a WarHawk LS block that can take over 2,000 HP for about 1500 bucks! The HellCat crate would likely be over 20K,,the SuperCharger system alone is probably 12K

#3 When we started to move the engine on the dolly I built,,it collapsed! We lifted the engine with the picker,,then re-built the Dolly,,with way more wood screws,,then set it back on the Dolly. Thank God,,no damage! Whew,,,LOL,,it went in fine! I'm wore out!

E-85 1050 Holley,,I even placed a large towel on top of the carb and closed the hood. I think with a drop based X-Stream air filter,,it will clear fine.

Bumper back in place. I made an attachment fixture out of thick steel stock,,then bolted that to the bumper brackets. It went up just fine,,no need to remove the front grill,hood ect,,everything cleared just fine.

Oh yeah,,thanks to Ade! You were correct mate! The Pistole' shifter cleared and was perfectly centered! I was somewhat concerned about this because the sheetmetal wasn't original,,it had been repaired before I bought the 72. But it's cool,,thanks again Ade!
