I have one more big question regarding my front sway bar project!
I'm told there are "L" brackets that are needed for adding a sway bar to an E-Body that did not come with this option. They supposedly mount on the lower control arm area and support the sway bar.
If this is correct, can anyone tell me the actual name for these brackets and if they are available?

I tried assembling the sway bar yesterday and ran into a little issue. The actual K-member sway bar brackets (original ones) will not allow the aftermarket 7/8" Daystar brackets to fit inside the brackets that attach to the K-Frame. I was wondering if I could simply flip the K-member bracket over and mount the sway bar brackets on it directly rather than trying to get the narrower ones that supposedly fit "inside" the K-frame brackets.
Will that work? It seems everyone sells the original narrower and taller bushings but not the brackets for them- and it makes no sense having to purchase a completely new sway bar kit (has EVERYTHING) when I have 90% of what I need.

You have completely lost me.

Most aftermarket parts these days need a little "work" to fit. The one tool that gets used the most in my garage is the 4.5" angle grinder.

Between that, the welder, and a big hammer I can make anything fit anything.

My car did not come with the sway bar setup, so I purchased the bolt-on k-frame brackets which the sway bar bushings/brackets bolt onto. The k-frame brackets are not solid pieces- and the Daystar bushings/brackets are too wide to fit "inside" the k-frame sway bar brackets. Does that make sense? The original E-Body brackets/ bushings are narrower and "taller" than these Daystar ones, which are wider and shorter, so I was thinking of flipping the K-frame sway bar brackets upside-down and bolting the bushings/brackets directly onto the flat side.

Do you have the bolt on brackets for the lower control arm? did they fit good? Have'nt used my FirmFeel ones yet too lazy

I actually welded the brackets to the lower arms and they came out fine. It's the K-Frame brackets and the bushing/bracket assembly I'm wrestling with.

Do you have any photos of the original sway bar bushing brackets installed? The brackets are shorter on one end than the other and I need to see which direction they'll mount to the main bracket.
