yea ed jim will do some of the metal/frame work,i do have another guy that will do the body panels, but this is what we did today, we actually got alot done in 6 or 7 hours, here is some pix :s007:

and yes eddie jim has EVERYTHING,we used his frame rack today , and you must have a frame rack to pull on things if the car has been hit ,so we used that to pull the cowl out :D

gotta go ,buffalo burgers are callin

DSC03456.JPG
arrival at the COMPOUND
DSC03457.JPG
here is a hidden problem ,this car was hit on the driver side, and it knocked the bolt loose inside the frame
DSC03473.JPG
so we cut a hole to make a new bolt for the bumper
DSC03474.JPG
we welded a bolt to the back side of the steel
DSC03475.JPG
front side
DSC03476.JPG
welded and ground off ready for prep
DSC03468.JPG
after removal of the undercoat, more of the tin worm
DSC03469.JPG
cut a new piece
DSC03470.JPG
removed the bad part
DSC03472.JPG
this was my first try at welding, man it takes alot practice,im not good at cause i have never done it,it all grinds off right?
DSC03477.JPG
yea it ground off
DSC03489.JPG
cut to fit
DSC03491.JPG
welded and ground and ready for prep,
this will be covered with under coat for final,so its not perfect but good enough for me
DSC03460.JPG
cowl 1st pic,not the best
DSC03483.JPG
puller
DSC03486.JPG
2nd pic
DSC03487.JPG
amazing results ,and this part is covered by the fender so nobody bothered to fix it right

The factory fader goes on the dash and actually says rear speaker.
The previous owner of my Cuda' fitted a Challenger gas tank in it. The filler was right about, in the same location as your flap. I bet that's what it's for.

ok now my thinking cap is on and that hole is to far to the middle for the challenger trunk floor its not in the same place,so i dont know what that is for cause this is the origonal floor, who knows,

but seth and my self got most of the front end diassembled , but one of the upper control arm bolts got rusted in the are and had to be cut out with a disk, and this one bolt took 2 hours what pain in the ass

oh yea we had a visitor a yellow bellied marmot usualy found in the mountains but this one has been running aroound im my yard and lives in my neighbors wood pile

Cool Pic Drew. Around here the 'Yellow Bellied ChuckToothed CS" lives in peoples run down homes and migrates to the Keetchen areas during nascar and hickabilly seasons. :lol2: Seriously though, isnt that hole where the jack holdown is located? It looks like it just rusted through next to the water drain plug..?? Thanks for posting,,keep the pics coming..Tell Seth I said Hey Man,,what up

Looks to me like it just rusted though due to water dripping in from a rotten rear window structure. The flap must have beel someones attempt to cover the hole but still allow for drainage. :D
