T/A Exhaust Manifold Identification

Postby TAGibb » 27 Sep 2009 22:58

Can anyone help tell me how to verify I have correct T/A exhaust manifolds? The driver's side has raised casting number 2863553 on the top. The passenger side manifold has no visible casting number and does not appear to have had a heat riser. Thanks!

Physically, any 1968-70 340 manifolds are the same (other than the raised number on the driver's side) they will all work with the T/A exhaust. All passenger side manifolds came with heat risers.

That said....

Most 1970 driver's side manifolds do not have the raised number on them, but a few have been found on original 1970 cars.

So as I understand it, my manifolds may be original to the car. I may just need to get a heat riser. Any idea where I can get one?
