Broadcast Sheet Wanted for 1970 RT

Postby redgum78 » 25 Aug 2009 23:21

G'day all.

I have searched my challenger from top to bottem and found nothing. Also did a Vin search on the Hamtramck registary (great website) but turned up nothing.
The Vin is;
JS23U0B149184
I have a Utah certificate of title and that is about it.

Is there anything else I can do or is it too much of a needle in a haystack?

Thanks for you help

You can register if you like?

That way if I do hear of something for your car I know exactly how to get in touch with you.

Somehow I knew Barry would chime in. :wink:

Redgum, could you possibly trace down past owners of your Challenger? That may shed some light on it's origin. How long have ya had it?

Thanks gents, I will register it in the next week or so (might be a good job for my next nightshift!).
I have had it for about 8 months now. It was a roller when I got it about 97% complete...missing bits such as radiator, marker lights, air cleaner and other minnor parts that I am slowly collecting up. Currently I have it stripped out and am repairing the rust which is not too bad. Trunk floor is good. Minor rust in the floor wells, both rear quarters have a bit and there is a rust around the windscreens.

Cheers

The fender tag is the most important thing to still have. If a sheet turns up that is just icing on the cake. But many of us do not have the sheets for our cars.

Yep. I resemble that comment. I still have my fender tag but, no sign of the build sheet. 2nd owner didn't find one either. Still hopefull, of finding the original Canadian owner.
Good Luck!!! :wink:
