Glovebox Light

Postby Moparman1972 » 30 Mar 2009 16:00

Where does the light that illuminates the glovebox plug into? Does it come out of the glovebox door switch? I assume so, but my glovebox door switch only has one wire coming out of it, and that plugs into the 3 outlet plastic power block.

The light fits into the right side of the glove box. lt may ground from the switch, as the glove box frame is paper. :s008: If you need I'll get under the dash and check it out.

red three bullet connector

Does it come out of the glovebox door switch?

switch/light pops into the outside steel frame of the box- light goes in side- light then comes out of a hole with a plactic lens

correct- shell of light is grounded via steel frame

Sorry I should have been more specific. I only have the glovebox door switch. There is no light and my glovebox is long gone. Does the power for said glovebox light go into the door switch and then come back out of the switch and go to the light? There is no wire coming out of my switch right now.

Thats what I meant when I asked if the light came from the door switch.

So the bulb IS in the switch, not separate!.....if I am seeing a bulb sticking out the other end of that. Boy this one threw me for a loop. :s008:
