Hi,
I have a 1971 dodge challenger and on the fender tag there is the deputy option (A93) B & E coupe package, with interior as tan/beige option ( L6T7 ) also it has the bucket seats option (C55) console w/ buckets option (C16)
From what I can gather the interior of the deputy was from a barracuda interior. But apparently the interior ONLY came in black and white? I read this everywhere that the interior was came only in Black & White.?
I have a couple of questions as a result:
1. Was the black and white ONLY interior for bench seats or for bucket seats or for both?
2. How did my car get a deputy with a barracuda interior but not in black and white but in chestnut (tan/beige) as the fender tag says.
The car was bought by my parents new in 1971 from a Chrysler dealership and was perhaps a Demo Car, as they bought it at the end of the season (late in 1971) with a few hundred miles on it.
3. Does this make any difference with the interior being chestnut (tan/beige)?
Have posted pics of the fender tag and interior. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks, Bella Beeze
Also my full fender tag is as follows:
