440 source heads

Postby Eddie » 15 Aug 2008 16:13

Can anyone please inform me of ANY problems with the new 440source heads? I have been reading a lot of information about them. I am concerned with any potential problems like core shift, gasket placement in regards to oiling feed holes, coolant feeds, are there any heli coil inserts in them like the edelbrocks have? Any feedback appreciated, I cant afford a purchase that I'll have to sell or scrap. I have read both bad and good about them. I havent heard ANYTHING bad about the eds heads though. Where they are made is totally unimportant to me as long as they meet the engineering specs. Thanks for your feedback.

Heard a lot of good thigs about those on Moparts.
Don't hesitate to call Brandon to ask these questions firsthand though, he's a really nice chap.

It seems there is some false info on these heads. On Moparts the ones with 'problems' appear to have the problem with the sourcing of these heads and not any mechanical problems. I should have figured as much  Yes , fabian Brandon&natalie are both very nice, professional and back their products. Looks like I'll be buying the 440source heads instead of the us made edelbrocks!!!
