It's still a badass car Wayne! What are the differences between the 2? If it's like MoPar, it would only be cam, carb, possibly valve springs, shocks or dampers?

ONLY WANT TO ADD ONE EXTRA THING ABOUT STARTUP

Postby healey » 06 Aug 2008 18:52

All the folks have made good suggestions want to make one more: when you remove spark plugs for easy cranking, BE SURE TO GROUND OUT EACH PLUG WIRE or disconnect primary to kill any spark. If you dont, those unwanted sparks will arc somewhere inside your "spark box" and cause eroded path which will result later in slow or no-starts on damp days!!!!!!!!

sd455

Postby charliek » 18 Sep 2008 3:37

I had a 74 Formula SD455 which I NEVER should have shold. It was one of 47 cars. That car was fast. I saw a nice 76 455 (not SD obviously) with a 4 speed. I was wondering if the 455 was anemic in 76?
