Police or SuperCoupe wheels?

Postby Eddie » 22 Jun 2008 12:58

How does one tell the difference between the 2? I measured across the top, from 'bead to bead, they measured a little over 8" arent the Police wheels 7"? They have the cooling "slots" around the circumference but I think I remember they both had those? I dont have the center caps or lug nuts. There are some numbers that I can post. I am interseted in selling them for more project money so...

Cop wheels are 7" INSIDE the beads and they have nubs for the dogdish caps.

Super Coupe wheels are 8" inside the beads and no nubs.

Cop wheels. I went and measured them they had both the nubs and a 7" span inside the beads. Thanks Barry, as always I appreciate your expertise!

I believe Barry is referring to these Dave. They, I assume, help 'hold' the dog dish 'hubcaps' in place.
