Can anyone tell me what the advantage of using a Dual Point distributor is? Will it add any value to the MSD ignition I am already using on my Big Block? Thanks.

Dual point is better than single points because you can get more dewll. Electronic ignition is far better than both.

Was electronic ignition something that was avalible back then in 1972.I mean did some cars come stock with em?

Can anyone tell me what is the difference between an Accel ACC-8197 and an Accel ACC-8199 plug (or other manufacturers with different #'s)? I know I have run different size plugs in the past but have never understood how the #'s differentiate one plug form another when the differences aren't obvious.
