Draining the fuel tank.

A fairly obvious exercise I would imagine but a few pointer would be helpful guys?

Its a problem I would like to eliminate from my list, I want to empty the tank and put in some fresh fuel.

What about using a siphon or suction pump?

Would that get all of the gunk and impurities out also?

If you are concerned about that I think removing the tank would be the best solution. Not a big job really. Plus you can check the inside of the tank along with the top where it meets the trunk floor for rust. New rubber fuel and or vent lines if equipped would be a good idea also.

Jon's advice is the way to go!(squirt the j-bolts down real good with WD-40, they may be 'frozen")

If you are referring to the straps they can be reused. Just don't tighten them too much upon installation. The straps at the 90's where the J bolts attach bend easily. :|

Oh, now I think you were saying pictures. Sorry. Hopefully the above info may be useful later.
