My resonators show no arrow and look absolutely symmetrical so what is the correct way to install them. Do the numbers read from front to back of car or back to front of car.
New to the forum so I'm hoping the pics came through

I thought all the factory ones were welded to a pipe at one end? They were in 1970/71 at least.
If so these ones you have are not exactly the same as the originals anyway so there is no need to worry about it.
If you want to get as close as original anyway then these guys might know the answer;

Check the tube diameters at both ends. The larger end should go to the front of the car to receive the tube coming to it from the engine.
