Pat, I hope this isnt the (in)famous 'bumper boys' carlos and roscoe or whatever his name is. I have heard bad things. I used Pauls Chrome Plating in Mars Pennsylvania. They arent the cheapest, they do excellent work with 3 grades of plating available. O.E.M. which is regular single layer chrome. Then the show car which is triple nickel chrome, then Concours which is perfect, no imperfections. The prices you list are not that bad. Do Not swap your bumpers for cores. Use your bumpers the car came with. Many shops use an exchange program, this is not the way to go. The re-pop bumpers are thinner gauge steel. I measured them. You can feel the difference in the weight when you hold one in your hands!

Just a heads up, I ordered from Bumper Boys. I then did a wack of online research and found tons of bad feedback on these guys. Over and over agian people said the chrome would peel or it would discolor around the year old mark. They promised me they're product was as good as any.

One year later, chrome peeling off about a dime size from an edge. I epoxy'd it so it wouldn't keep going.

Cheap, Cheap, Cheap Crap Chrome. Absolutely no durability especially to put on a car. Bumper was extremely thin as well. I'm an idiot for having to much faith in people, after being warned.
