K&N X stream airfilter fitment

Has anyone put a K&N X-stream aircleaner on? It's the one with the paper top. I wanted to put one in my 318 with thermoquad 4 bbl and rallye hood and want to know if I should go with a 3, 4 or 5 inch filter, and how much of a drop base, if any. Thanks!

This sounds over the top of a 318.

Work out how much airflow your engine actually needs with the help of this link;

Then use that information to find out how big an air filter you need. It is pointless having more flow than your engine will ever use. So pick carefully.
