hey eddie,no problem.i am here to help as others help me on this board too. these are the only photos i have of the trunk on file. car is sleeping right now under its cover.if you need more details let me know.

another tip for assembly of the jack parts and spare is-just follow the factory sticker on the trunk lid.when i bought my car some of the trunk items where not put in the right place.i looked at the sticker and put everything where they belonged.it was very easy.hope this helps.

I need all this stuff too, Eddie. Before I bought my car, I had the guy remove, probably $3000.00 worth of stereo equipment in the trunk. :s001: Saved me $2000.00 though. He shaved all the jack and tire stuff for the Amp's and Kicker's. Put in sound deadoner, and told me it was rust free. I had to see for myself. It was rust free! :D A lot of work.

Danny, Pat, thanks guys that really helps me out. I didnt even think about the service decal attached to the trunk lid underside. That pic really helps Danny. One more question, did all 70 Challenger trunks use the same spare tire? Was the spave saver tire as per your's used in all Challengers? Where would I even get one at a decent price? Thanks so much, very helpful!

eddie your welcome. the space saver tire was an option in most cases.i think they came standard only if you ordered the ralleys rims with the larger f60-15 tires,as mopar did not want to throw that large spare in the trunk.but from what i studied all the other tires would get a regular tire with rim.i think also all the T/a cars and Hemi cars got the space saver tires because they came with the large f-60 tires with rallyes. correct me if i am wrong. but other than those cases it was an extra cost option.

i do see the space savers tire and jack assembly on ebay a lot but!!!! big bucks.space saver averages about $700-$1000 on ebay steady.jack assembly not shure of price but up there. 8)
