How do you like this look? I see your point now, in this case I think painted mirrors were the way to go.

The painted mirrors look very good on that car, no question about it. (and, yes, I am a sucker for the black & red colour theme...)

I couldn't live with the SE.

i live with an SE everyday and i just love it. there is so much to look at on an SE,i don't mind the leather seats/overhead console and vinyl roof with the small window.i think the chrome mirrors look real sharp with all that stainless trim that comes standard with the SE.dont get me wrong dave i like the other models too but i am very happy i got an SE

I am sure that Dave could live with a SE. The thing is that he very likely would alter it according to his taste making it a non-SE, so to say.
