Windshield wiper and fuel gauge

Postby plum-crazy » 19 Nov 2007 6:13

Hi all.

I removed the cluster to clean it and let the km at zero.
I took the cluster and was a company who made the work.
Now once I connected it again, I have two problems.
The first one is the fuel gauge does not work, I checked connections and the sending wire but the signal seems to arrive at cluster wire.
Today I bring the cluster to the company to check the fuel gauge.

The other problem I found was the windshield wiper, once swiched on , I stop it and the wipers do not go to the bottom position.

I checked the wiring diagrams but I can't find any disconnected cable.

Does anyone knows more reasons? It never failed before.

The wiper motors can go funny sometimes. But if you take them apart and put them back together again they usually work OK again.

Test them off the car first though and if you do take it apart be VERY careful to note how it goes together.....
