Any takers on the first song Led Zeppelin will play next week?

My money’s on either Thank You (given the reason behind the concert) or maybe Rock ‘n’Roll (the first line of the lyrics would be appropriate).

Did I hear they’ll be playing the full concert on Planet Rock radio at some point?

I am more concerned about them having a good time on stage.

Because then they might tour. I have a feeling they will.

Just think. They can follow in the footsteps of Take That, Boyzone and The Spice Girls......

Spotted it was on just before I went to bed. Recorded it on the hard drive.

I want to see the recording of the O2 concert last night. Any news of when it might be on TV? Or even if it is going to be shown?

They still got it don't they! 8)

I had a secret fear they'd come on like a lacklustre shadow of their former selves.

WRONG!!

What's the news on the possibility of a tour then?

Well I went home last night, spent half an hour poking about on YouTube. There's several clips done on mobile phones, and one clip of Whole Lotta Love done on a camcorder (I think).

You can't see much of the stage, but the music is WALLOPING!! I was trying to work out if Jimmy had his theremin out (matron).

Generally, they looked healthy, happy and seemed to be having a very good time. There's lots of cameras around the stage area, so presumably the concert will be released on DVD at some point.

I've spent hour's on youtube on this today and yesterday. I can't get enough. My older sister's introduced Led Zeppelin to me in 73, as well the Beatles even earlier. Brittish band's rule! The list goe's on and on. Don't even get me started on "FLOYD". I remember back in the 70's, probably, 78, I had my mom all calmed down on the supposed, :s003: Devel music of Led Zeppelin. Then she walk's in when I have my turn table in neutral, playing Stairway To Heaven, backword's. You old guy's know what I'm talking about. Starting at... "If there's a bussel in your hedgegrow, don't be alarmed now.... Shit hit the fan! What great time's they were., Really! I've loved this group for as long as I can remember. Can't wait to see more! By the way, "Stairway to Heaven" was a Zeppelin song my mom liked, 'til that day. :s021:  Patrick

I was 'lucky' Pat my parents both were emplyed at C.B.S. records here in Terre haute back in the early 70's. They brought home albums every month many were Rock, my brothers and I wouldnt listen to anything else. Mom helped play the records backwards it was cool! To this day she only listens to rock! :s004:

Well.

The rumors are rife at the moment about a Led Zep world tour.

Apparently venues are being booked etc. Madison Square Garden is one of the hot rumors. Glastonbury another.
All being arranged and organised. Just waiting for Robert plants final say is the word on the street.

HOWEVER!

Robert Plant & Allison Krauss are doing a UK and European tour next year. Tickets for which go on sale from 9am GMT tomorrow......

Baited breath and all that. Logically, if it does all come together they're going to be limited to the number of venues that will take their show. From what I saw on YouTube, the O2 was rammed, and that's a big place.

I hope they play somewhere that I've got a chance of getting to. That would be something. 8)

I like your swimsuit in the avater Dave. You been working out mate? :s024:
