Rear Drum - Ebrake Parts

Postby CraigRTSE » 08 Sep 2007 20:31

I want to make sure I have all the e-brake parts that go in the drum. Is this correct:

1. Lever
2. Strut
3. Strut spring
4. Pivot wave washer

Am I missing anything else? Also does anyone have pictures of how all this goes together? The FSM explains it, and I have a good idea, but pics are best. The parts are not installed, so I can't use that for reference.

Thanks!

Impossible to show how it goes together. Not without taking it all apart.

But here are a few shots of it on the car. These are the 11-inch brakes.

Much appreciated! Those pics are helpful. In looking at the list from my first post, are those all the parts I need for what goes inside the drum? Thanks again!

No idea!

I remember taking them apart once and putting them back together again. But don't remember the details.

I can check the parts manual I guess. I will see what that says.

The only thing that might be of use to you is this exploded diagram.

From the looks of it, I believe I have everything. I think I understand how the e-brake stuff attaches now. Many thanks Dave. I'll let you know how things turn out.
