Vinyl roof and the evil that lurks beneath!!!

How much damage can occur under the vinyl which you obviously cant see until its stripped off?

What can one do to repair ptential damage to a roof.. metal patchwork maybe??

Just an inquiry...as I live in Ireland Im sure I will need to address it at some stage.

Vinyl tops really are not a good thing. If you are asking now RedRaven, then you're probably at that stage. If I can provide any help please ask. :)

They didn't paint under the vinyl top. Just undercoat.

If you are lucky it will be pretty solid with a bit of surface rust and a few pin holes.

If you are not lucky it will need a lot of welding. Worst case a new roof. But if it was that bad you would feel or even see all the rust bubbling up under the vinyl.
