I don't know much about the airports in UK, but I guess you could try and check what's closest to Bedford (Luton might be, if ther's a flight you can catch in Ireland).

As for the hotels, well.. You'll still be a Santa Pod virgin in a way at the end of the week-end if you go to a hotel.

Bring a tent! Camping is great!

I just checked the long-term weather forecast for Bedford for the next 12 days, and it's not that cool actually.
There's room for improvement!

If the weather does not clear up, or if you're bringing wife and kids who may not be happy camping, look there :

Actually, in all the years I've been coming to Pod, I don't remember a single lousy Mopar Nats. It rained a little on 2 occasions, but nothing really bad. For the Eurofinals, however, that's another story.

Wellingborough is the nearest big town to SPR. No idea where the nearest airport is though. Luton maybe?

Luton or Birmingham. Maybe even Coventry these days. As for hotels , SPR is in the middle of nowhere , and to fully experience THE Nats , you gotta stay there. Havin said that , if the weather don't pick up / dry out , this'll be the first year in the past 7 that I won't actually be camping. Luckily , I only live 45 mins down the road .

Actually I already have a room booked. Didn't fancy roughing it this year. Even though it means missing out on parties.
