I was looking through and old feature manual and found a couple of cool options that I was wondering if onyone had them on there cars and if they still worked? I have never seen them on any vehicles around here.

Headlight delay option and Automatic Speed Control.

I would like to know if the "Automatic speed control" was fitted by the dealer rather than at the factory. Maybe someone knows?

Most likely factory installed. On the broadcast sheet, in the group Engine accessories, you will find a box called "AUTO/SP CONTROL".

About the cruise control: I have no own experiances of this option but I have seen one car with it once. I got so excited about it so I just had to take a couple of pic´s. A rare option, eh?

About the headlight delay option: I think I have that option on my car. It automatically switches off the headlights after 90 seconds or something, right? I remember once when I realized that I had forgotten to turn off the headlights (there is a law in my country saying that the headlights have to be on while you are driving) and had went back to my car. I remeber how surprised I was when I saw that the headlights weren´t on. I thought something was wrong but later I have realized that I have this option. It seems to work OK on my car.

I found a little more detail. The code for the cruise control is N88 and headlight delay unit is L42 and to my knowledge, both factory installed.
