Hemi Heads and one wedgie--ALL capable of well over 1200 H.P.! the 540 Hemi with the gear drive Supercharger,(Pro-Charger) makes 1600 H.P. better get that Dana and subframe connectors,(welded in eh Dave)!!!!

That was the 540 Wedge with 572-13 heads with 4.560 Bore and billet parts,(crank, rods, pistons, cam, owner). 1200+H.P. This is the 1600 H.P. Hemi! :twisted:

This dude is the Wheel guy, my friend Frank Long, I am going to get those Dodge Divison Hub Caps on those Police 15x8 steelies,(painted either Red or Black).

All in all, a very good show. The weather was bitter cold 28 F and 30 mph winds, the turn out was medium to heavy. The prices,(I am NO expert), appeared to be med. to high. Example I bought this 400 block for 125.00 and it's a standard bore block Low Deck.

Examples at the show were selling for 550+ and 440's up to 1k :roll:

. Resto parts where selling briskly but there were no "bargains". Maybe Sun. the last day they would come down! I had a blast and brought this home with me. It's currently in the back of my truck chained down and covered in grease and wrapped in plastic. Anyone want to sell a used stroker kit? :mrgreen:

I think you would have to go a bit further than just subframe connectors to handle that much power. :shock:

Thanks Eddie. I wished that I would have been there to meet you. The club told me you were there. I must have been shopping at the time and just missed you. Did you pick up a copy of our show schedule? The closest we get to Terre Haute is Danville. I do not know if that is to far from you, but I would like to see our cars together. I would much rather be driving than be sitting inside a building.

Yes Christer, JH27N0B= Bob. I was lucky enough to have purchased this car in 1982. It was my daily driver until 1985. I parked it because it was fairly rusty. I am mostly done with the resto. It still retains its original engine and tranny. All of the other numbers also match. It is coded with the E63 engine, but because it is in a base model the engine is turquoise with a carter carburetor. Therefore it is only the 330 hp motor. According to Galens book it is one of 84 conv 383 four barrel automatics.

Bob, sorry I missed you at the show. Your club has some very impressive cars and your's is stunning! My brother was drooling over a convertible as he had never seen one before. I definitely want to get our Challengers together and get a few pictures. Danville is not that far away, maybe this summer? BTW, I had only a couple hours at the show as I had to meet a gentleman to buy that money pit,,err 400 Block!! :mrgreen:

No doubt Dave!! Caged front to back side to side, LENCO, 40 spline gun drilled axles in the Dana 60, ect ect ect!! You would have to build the car around that monster? The torque was well over 1000Lbs. ft. Torque!!! All for only 29,995!! Cheap for what you get--a billet air pump!

1 of 84! That is indeed very rare. 383 is a nice engine.Thanks for describing the engine paint. I was wondering about that. //Chris

Wished I would have got some pics of the MCG magazine points winner in the show car class last year,2006, a gorgeous 70 Trans Am Chally in High impact pink paint and restored to concours numbers matching condition and owned by the original owners still residing in Indianapolis! :cry:

Sorry for the R/T mistake on Bob's car, guys, I was in sensory overload with all the items available and of course the beautiful MoPars!
