Hi, I was just reading a small town canadian newspaper and came across a story about this company: http://www.xvmotorsports.com

I thought I post it here. Does someone form this board know more about them ? Looks very interesting to me what they do with a Challenger.

Yes. Seen it before. Posted a link to them on here someplace? Probably in the suspension section?

I think it is all rather over the top myself. I think it would be useful in serious circuit racing with almost solid suspension. But never on the street. I feel it is a waste of time in the real world.

The stock k-frame and braces do enough. All the unibody needs is frame connectors.

That brace across the engine bay looks like it might be tricky with a 440 distributor.

Dave, Christer, Jens, hey guys wanted to let you that I contacted a Mr.Scott Landis at XV motorsports and the "skivvy" they gave me was basically what Dave stated. I am not saying that Mr. Landis said that it couldnt be used on the street, on the contrary he said the entry level would be perfect for the street. The level 1 is basically "matched" leaf springs and torsion bars with sway bars front and rear and specifically valved dampers,(shocks), now you could go and buy the individual components and replace them yourself but its not going to work at its optimum performance unless its all put on together. The Level II is more in line with what Dave describes and is streetable but is made for competiton and involves cutting and welding and is VERY expensive. It is however state of the art and specific engineering was accomplished by a firm in Canada that does a lot of Formula 1 work. I on the other hand piecemealed my suspension "package" with quality bolt on parts because I could never take advantage of the suspension that XV offered why? Because I am unwilling to give up my Ralleyes and 15" tires and no cutting which includes no subframe connectors. That would make any further mods pointless. You gotta have ultra low profile tyres and big wheels if you want to take advantage of a Competion suspension or else youre spinning you wheels,(pun intended)!

Actually. Low profile tyres on 17-inch wheels make quite a difference just in themselves.

I think part of the reason for extra bracing may be because they remove the stock k-frame and bracing (which removes strength) and add coil-over-shock suspension to the front.

Yeah Dave, and I wont go with the aftermarket look on my car,(wheels), not that its wrong or anything, just personal taste.
