Window assembly help

Postby Dale1035 » 10 Sep 2006 15:09

I am in the process of resoring a 1973 Challenger that I purchased in pieces. during the installation of the interior I have found a spring packaged with the window crank handles. the spring is about 1 1/4" tall and has a diameter of 1 3/4" on one end and 1" on the other. Does anyone know where these parts go. Any help is greatly appreciated.

It slides over the rear window crank, it keeps the rear sail panel tight to the window handle base.

Dave
That was a new part for me also. Some parts are difficult to figure out when when don't get to see how they came apart. Luckily all of the window assembly parts had been kept together.
