FYI (diecast Challenger)...

Postby dcfox » 13 Aug 2006 5:47

Just thought I'd post a "heads up"...in case anyone is interested.
Aside from being a Challenger fanatic...I also collect diecast cars.

If anyone here wants a small version of a Challenger,Mattel just released a 1970 Challenger in their Hot Wheels Mainline 2006 First Editions series.
You can pick these up at just about any Walmart...or any other store with a toy section that carries Hot Wheels. Now this is a brand new release,so it might be a little tough to find right now,but they should be showing up in plentiful numbers and are not a limited edition or anything.
They should run you under $1 U.S.

First things I noticed it that the shaker scoop is a little large, and that the stance is all wrong...and the wheels on both variations are horrible.
I can overlook the scoop size, but had to do something about the stance and wheel choice.

BTW...this car is 1:64 scale(a little under 3" long).

1:18 huh?

I have a 1:18 '71 Cuda and a 1:18 '69 Charger that were a promotional set from Ideal/Buchanan last year.

They made by Ertl are both mint loose.

I'd be willing to take any offers(trade or cash) for them.

Here they are...
