ignition lock cylinder

Is there a way to remove just the ignition lock cylinder without taking the steering column apart? I was told the dealership has a special tool to pop the cylinder out.

Not that I know of. Not on these old cars anyway. New cars are easier.

The correct way to do it is on a thread on this board someplace. Use the search facility to find it.
