Rearend help????

Hi how can i tell which rearend i have? I think it is a 8-3/4 but not sure any one know any way to identify it???? Thanks all

The easy way is to view the back of the rear end and see if it has a bolt-on
cover.If it does not then it is a 8 3/4 rear axle.Also look at your casting
number on the center section.Their are 3 different types (not counting dana
60)
1)741-1-3/8 small stem pinion
2)742- 1-3/4 large stem pinion
3)489- 1-7/8 tapered stem pinion
