I get the impression you are getting a bit excited at the prospect of seeing your car again?

Who, me? :s008:

It's been December in my kitchen for more than a month now. Why did he put in these other cars in this calendar??

How's the weather doing there right now? We are now officially in 'British Summertime' but it still sucks.

Been great with lot of sun and nice daytime temperature for almost two weeks now, but last night it started to snow again and forecast says it continue until tomorrow evening.

Sure there will be masses of snow in late April too, but the roads are hopefully ready then. I won't fit studs!

By the way, this is the car that board members Lightning and Zogg previous owned. Guess a few of you know of it.

DONE SO FAR :lol2:
I took a few pics from the 9 hour trip from Bergen across the mountains.

060427001.jpg
Through a valley before attempting to climb what you see.
060427002.jpg
A break inside the longest road tunnel in Norway (and Europe?), 24 km or 15 miles. Dust particles reflected my camera blitz.
060427003.jpg
Climbing.
060427004.jpg
Note the road turning right and how it climbs.
060427005.jpg
At Hemsedalsfjellet, the mountain crossing over for Hemsedal.
060427006.jpg
060427007.jpg
060427008.jpg
In Oslo the next day, saw a friend and his 72 Rallye 340 in Panther Pink.
060427009.jpg
The blue 70 Cuda 383 arrived from England the same day. We just had to meet and inspect our new cars the same day.

I LOVE these sort of "road trip" type photos. Much more interesting than someones driveway or a parking lot.

Some of the old timers on this board may remember I used to have a section on my web site just for Challengers in interesting locations or beside interesting local landmarks etc.

I might start something along those lines again on this board.

Wow yeah, some beautiful cruising pictures in the mountains there, makes the car look a thousand times better than on a crowded highway or something. What a looker.

Are you celebrating in your lovely T/A, Babyelephant?

HeHe, no. The rain poured down all day, yesterday. Better keep it indoor, it's slippery wet roads and crowds of people in the streets. Went to a rock concert in Oslo in the evening, Norwegian group Raga Rockers.

Got my plates for it Monday, by the way.

I have always wanted to ask this question and maybe it has been asked before, who is leaning on the babyelephant's car and how can I get a picture of her with my car.

Dave, your mother worked as a promo girl for Chrysler Corp back in the seventies, you've never told us??

By the way, what is the abbreviations MILF and IMO?

IMO is easy to explain. It = In My Opinion.

MILF is a bit more tricky. It means he likes my mother a lot and he would like to get to know her - in the biblical sense.

The incontinence pads would put most people off. But it takes all sorts.

Thanks! :) Do they offer Norwegian mags over at your place?

Funny comment by you. :| In fact I've quit my membership in this largest American Car association after they've printed this article. In fact 90% of the text is written earlier by myself for the WPC Club of Norway's homepage, and this AMCAR Magazine would like to take photos and use my text. They just added a few lines to it and the journalist told me at the phone as well as by e-mail contact that my name should be credited the text together with his. Later on the editor has erased my name before printing and he is not willing to correct this. I got pretty pissed by his behaviour and told them I'm not renewing my membership here. :fight:

Norwegian mags in Sweden? Well, I have no idea actually. Probably not. I will take a closer look the next time I am downtown.

Copying your own text? Not very nice of them to do that. :disbelief: I think you did the right thing when you ended the member-ship.

Sweet ride babyelephant. Awesome that you got ink in a magazine. Your car looks to be well deserving.

May I ask, are you in a chair? It looks like you're sitting down in that one shot.
